Speedy at Silverstone

A good turn-out and start to the EMGP/NRRL season at Silverstone on Wednesday night with strong team performances. Thanks to Neil Macdonald for the photos.

County Track & Field Championships Day 1 (13/5/23)

It was gold for Francesca Molossi-Murphy in both the senior ladies 800m & 1500m which she contested 15 minutes apart. In the under 17's Alex Pitt set a new PB of 2:08:80 winning bronze in the 800m and a good performance from Ogheneruno Umurhohwo who came 7th in the under 13's

WDAC over35’s in MK

First of the EMAC track & field events for over 35's held last night in Milton Keynes. Next event in Cambridge.   

Weekend success

An impressive performance by Ben Shirley who finished 3rd, in 9:00:16, at the 50 mile Pennine Barrier Ultra race at the weekend. Also enjoying success were Sarah Hollis 1st female/4th overall in the St Neots Sprint Triathlon, Adam Shaw 3rd at the same event and at the Stratford Sprint Triathlon there

Fun in the sun

A big weekend for WDAC triathletes in the Ibiza World Championships at the weekend with Phil Kidd winning silver in the Aquathon and finishing 7th in the Duathlon final. There were debuts by Kat Baxter-Smith and Pete Cowler who made the Standard Duathlon Finals.     

WDAC at the Northants 5k series

Congratulations to Alice Piggott who was the 1st lady runner and 16th overall at today's first race in the Northants 5k series at Stanwick Lakes. Well done to everyone from the club who ran; Jamie Horsman 14th; Alice Piggott 16th; Caleb Pardoe 17th; Matthew Pollard 22nd; Jaiden Kenyon 25th; Lee Mooney 66th;
