From Abu Dhabi to Wootton

Congratulations to Adam Shaw and Steve Adams who represented GB in their age groups at the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi this weekend.    In equally exotic surroundings the club was well represented at today's cross country event hosted by Wootton Road Runners. Well done to all.    

Alice – Midlands 10 mile champion

Congratulations to Alice Belcher who became the Midlands lady 10 mile champion and set a new 10 mile PB at yesterdays Derby 10 mile event in a time of 58:33.

W&DAC and NSport at schools cross country

The club worked alongside NSport at yesterdays schools cross country events in Croyland Park. A very windy day with some great performances and crowd support.  

Spond – reminder

All club members please remember to book onto club sessions via the Spond app. Coaches need to know who are attending sessions so they can be appropriately delivered and for your own benefit should an incident/accident occur and we need to inform your nominated contact.

Busy weekend for W&DAC

Club members were busy racing in many places over the weekend including Oxford, Daventry, Bath and Peterborough where Alice Belcher finished with another great performance coming in as 2nd lady in the Great Eastern Half Marathon in a time of 1:17:44.   Thanks to Adam Shaw for the headline photo.
