Success in Weedon

Another good performance by WDAC last night at the Weedon 10K with Alice Belcher 1st lady, John Wayland 1st mv40 and 1st place for the mans vet team. Thanks to Kelly Barnett for the photos.       

GB Amy & Phil are Canada bound

We wish Amy Vaughan & Phil Kidd good luck when they represents GB in the World Sprint Distance Triathlon in Montreal, Canada on the 25th June, a fantastic achievement by both of them.  

Castle Ashby 5K

Ultra Scotland

Well done to all of the club members who took part in the Ultra Scotland 50 & 100, in fairly horrific weather, at the weekend. Thanks to Helen for the photos.     

GB Mark

Congratulations to Mark Moriarty who finished in 13th position in his age group at the 2022 AG World Duathlon Championships held in Targu Mures, Romania at the weekend. Mark is one of the 10 GB tri/duathlon representatives the club has.  

Alice wins again!

Congratulations to Alice Belcher who was first lady at the "Harborough 5"  in a time of 28:52. Other notable performances were from John Wayland 1st male vet 45 in 27:10 and  Kelly Barnett 2nd lady in 30:45. Overall our senior ladies team finished 2nd and our mens senior team 5th.

Temporary changes to car parking at OG’s

OG's have advised that "as of Monday 6th June we will be having work done to the main car park area at the sports-field. Visitors will still be able to use the back/overflow car parks while the work is being carried out. All customers will need to enter via the driveway as usual

Tri success home & abroad

A huge well done to Amy Kelly who was 3rd female at the Box End Sprint Tri and to Neil McDonald for coming 6th in his age category at the Olympic Tri in Poland.

June 2nd training sessions cancelled

There will be no formal training sessions on 2nd June (Bank Holiday), however, for anyone who wants to run there will be an informal mixed group run at Irchester Country Park. Meet by the cafe at 18:30.
