Well done to everyone who ran the “Welly 5” today and to Go Beyond and all of the volunteers who made today a success.
A special mentions to North Northants Community First Responders, marshals and fellow runners who speedily assisted a Northampton Road Runner out on the course suffering from the effects of heat and to Mark Hill from Rugby & Northampton AC who stopped to assist a wheelchair athlete whilst contesting the lead of the race – the running community spirit in action.
Alice Belcher retained her 1st lady title in a time of 28:35 with the W&DAC ladies team winning county team gold.
