Big PB’s at the “Fred Hughes 10”

Congratulations to Francesca Molossi-Murpy and Lydia Wilkie who posted big new PB's at today's "Fred Hughes 10" race in Bedmond, St Albans. Fran' finished in a time of 1:08:26/1:07:53 (chip time) and Lydia in 1:17:22/1:15:58 (chip time). Well done to both.

County XC Champions

Congratulations to our ladies team that became county champions today in a very soggy Abington Park.

XC snow business

There was snowy conditions in Baldock for yesterday's last cross country event of the year. Well done to all who took part. Thanks to Nick Page for the photos.     

Club awards night & awards winners

Friday's awards night and Christmas party was held at the Hind Hotel and was well attended by club members. A big thanks to everyone involved in the evenings organisation and congratulations to all nominees and award winners. Alan Mills – Irchester Country Parkrun volunteer of the year

A massive well done to our club vice-chair Alan Mills who was voted "Volunter of The Year" at Irchester Country Parkrun.  As well as being found most Saturdays at "Alans Corner" offering encouragement to everyone taking part he started the "Walk with Alan" initiative to get more people involved with parkrun.

W&DAC at the Chiltern League xc Stopsley Common.

From Abu Dhabi to Wootton

Congratulations to Adam Shaw and Steve Adams who represented GB in their age groups at the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi this weekend.    In equally exotic surroundings the club was well represented at today's cross country event hosted by Wootton Road Runners. Well done to all.    

Alice – Midlands 10 mile champion

Congratulations to Alice Belcher who became the Midlands lady 10 mile champion and set a new 10 mile PB at yesterdays Derby 10 mile event in a time of 58:33.
