These are the finalised dates/venues for this years Northants Road Running League and East Midlands Grand Prix. Membership renewal

It's time to renew membership of the club. Despite rising prices elsewhere renewal fees have been held at £40 for both senior and junior members of the club. This includes cross country fees and England Athletics affiliation which gives discounts on race entries. Renew on-line via this website.  

Club AGM

The WDAC AGM will be held on Thursday 4th May at 7:45, at the OGs Sports Field (after training). There will be tea and coffee available. Louise of a thousand days

Club member Louise Kemp has just exceeded over 1,ooo days, 3 years+, of  running at least 2 miles per day. Also shortly due to reach the same mark is Martin Newton. Impressive stuff!

It’s raining runners

Well done to everyone who battled the rain today at the Ashby 20, Oakley 20 and Thorney 10K. A special mention for Bruce Whitehead who was first in his age group at the Ashby event. Thanks to Ian Mann for the photos.       

WDAC Tri in Europe

Congratulations to Phil Kidd and Mark Moriarty who are in the European Standard Distance Duathlon finals in Venice this weekend. Phil has won a silver medal and Mark had a top 10 finish.    

Waterway 30 winner

Congratulations to Zac O'Neil who won the Waterway 30 at the weekend in a time of 4:51:32.

Natasha wins at Burghley

A great performance by Natasha English to win the women's section of the Burghley 7 today.

Inter Counties Cross Country Championships

Congratulations to Kelly, Louise, Lydia, Fran and Emma who represented the club as part of the  Northants team at the Inter Counties XC Championships held today at Prestwold Hall, nr Loughborough.
