Strong performances last night in the Northants 5K series at Boughton House by Louise Kemp (3rd lady 22:25), Lydia Wilkie (4th lady 22:43), Jaiden Kenton - one of our juniors (24:15) & Matthew Hancock (25:21). Well done to all. Thanks to Jon Kemp for photo and race report.

A busy weekend for club members at the county track & field championships in Corby; the Dorney Lake Sprint Tri Qualifier; St Neots Tri and the Shires & Spires event. Well done to Alex Pitt who took 7 seconds off his 1,500m p.b. running 4:41:35; Jon Kemp 18:47:30 in the 5,000m;

On track at Silverstone 10K

There was good club representation last night at the first of this years EMGP event at Silverstone. The club was 3rd team overall; 3rd snr mens team; 1st snr womens team; 2nd mens vet team; 6th womens vet team. Alice Belcher was 1st lady overall and John Wayland 1st male

Pennine Barrier 50

Mixed fortunes for five club members yesterday who started the Pennine Barrier 50. Three completed - Helen Etherington 11:37, Simon Callow 14:26 & Tracey Carstairs 15:30. Kudos to Tracey who completed the Manchester-Liverpool 50 0nly 3 weeks ago! Unfortunately Mike Quinn had a fall on Whernside and had to receive hospital

New club 1500m records were set last night by Alex Pitt 4:48, a junior club record; Alice Belcher 4:51 a female club record & Jon Kemp 5:01 a V50 male club record.
