Huge respect to Mary Pearson who took part in the 48 hour “Escape From Meriden” event this weekend. Conditions were awful especially on the trail routes Mary chose to mostly follow and she completed an amazing 75 miles (53.8 miles as the crow fly’s from Meriden) before ending her race near to Peterborough.
