Congratulations to Alice Piggott who was the 1st lady runner and 16th overall at today's first race in the Northants 5k series at Stanwick Lakes.

Massive well done to all of the club members who took part in today's London Marathon who did themselves and the club proud. Among the many great performances Jonny Reep lowered his own club marathon record time from 2:33:18 to 2:30:40.

As a club we had the biggest number of entrants at todays, very wet, Stanwick races with 35 runners plus a team of volunteers who helped marshal the event.

It's time to renew membership of the club. Despite rising prices elsewhere renewal fees have been held at £40 for both senior and junior members of the club. This includes cross country fees and England Athletics affiliation which gives discounts on race entries.
