Taking a bow in Bilbao

Well done to the W&DC tri-athletes who represented GB in Bilbao this weekend at the triathlon/multi-sport event. Extra shout-out to Neil Macdonald 1st at Irchester Country Parkrun last Saturday, 17th September.

Alice retains Northampton Half Marathon title. Natasha wins 6.9.

Another excellent performance by Alice Belcher who was 1st lady (10th overall) in today's Northampton Half-Marathon in a time of 1:19:56 retaining the title she won last year. In 4th place (overall) was Jason French in a time of 1:16:40. There was another notable performance in the 6.9 race with Natasha

Christmas Party & Awards Night 2022

This years club Christmas party and awards night will be held at The Hind Hotel on Friday, 9th December. Tickets, £39:95,will shortly be on sale via Lydia Wilkie.

Jonny sets new club record half marathon time

Congratulations to Jonny Reep who, subject to confirmation, set a new club half-marathon record with a time of 1:12:35 at todays Great North Run. A big well done also to Nic Butter, Sarah Partridge-Underwood and Michael Berry who put in solid performances at the event.

Wanted – new club coaches/run leaders

We are looking for the next generation of coaches/run leaders for the club. If you are interested in starting this journey the first step would be to undertake the Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) course the cost of which will be met by the club in return for you making

W&DAC now uses “Spond”

  Since the beginning of August the club has started to use "Spond" to organise training sessions; events; membership & news etc. "Spond" is used by many other running clubs as well as other sporting teams and will hopefully make life easier for the volunteers who help run W&DAC.
