The Junior section of the club welcomes new members.

Guest membership is free for the first four sessions.
If you could go onto our website and download a Junior Guest Form, fill it in and bring it on your first visit that will save time.

The Junior section of the club is for anybody from 9 years old up to 16. We have fully qualified coaches running each session to ensure child safety.  From Easter through to September we train on a 400m track, depending on when it gets dark at night.  We do different events from sprinting to long distance and sometimes field events e.g. javelin, discus etc. We also have access to a sports hall that we can use during the winter.

You can find more details on our membership pages or send an email to juniors@wdac.org.uk for more information.

Our junior members currently meet at Wellingborough School, London Road, Wellingborough, NN8 2BX on Tuesdays from 6.30 - 8.00 and at Wrenn School, Doddington Road, Wellingborough, NN8 2JJ (MAP) on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:00pm.

Parents: Be sure to join the Juniors Facebook page to be kept up to date with all arrangements for transport to events amongst other things.

Will you please ensure that your child arrives with sufficient layers of clothing to suit the prevailing weather conditions.

Cross country training provisional dates and venues

Dates for 2017 sessions will be updated as soon as possible.

The sessions will not be held if a Chiltern League or a local cross country event is taking place on the same day.  Please check this section and the W&DAC Juniors Facebook page for updates.

They are free, one hour sessions with Steve Stredwick and held in Croyland Park commencing at 9.30am, meeting in the Kingsway car park.  They are outdoor sessions and will feature running on grass, therefore clothing should be appropriate to the weather and ground conditions.
