England Athletics (EA) is part of UK Athletics (UKA), and registration is only available via affiliated running or athletics clubs like Wellingborough & District Athletics Club. Being an EA registered athlete offers benefits:
- Entry discounts (minimum £2) on UKA licenced road and multi-terrain events
- Entry to events exclusively available to registered athletes – under UKA Rules for Competition some competitions, particularly track and field, are only open to registered athletes
- e bulletins including key information on the sport and exclusive registered athlete offers.

Your club membership fee covers your registration to England Athletics as well as access to the clubs own qualified coaches, insurance and use of facilities at the OG’s.
