Following lots of discussions with the Castle Ashby estate, who own the land the race is held on, over the past couple of months we have decided that this years event will need to be postponed again.
This was not our intention and we can assure you this decision has been taken in the best interest of the entrants as we did not want to risk postponing the race again at the last minute. We did try to push the date back but there were other risks then also.
This event is not put on to make profit as we are a running club, not an event organiser, and we incurred the event costs back in 2020 when we had to call off 24hrs before the event. We are, however, looking at next year and to have a plan B in place that, if we think the current venue is not viable, will possibly be located elsewhere.
This means anyone who entered the 2020 event your entry credit will be honoured and carried over for you.
